Los Angeles-based composer Scott Tang began writing music at the age of 9, received his B.A. in Music from UC Berkeley, and has composed music across a wide variety of media and genres, including chamber/choral concert music, pop music, video games and podcasts. He is passionate about creating unique musical identities for films, drawing from a wide range of influences, such as late 19th- to early 20th-century western classical, Chinese folk, Japanese animated film scores and ambient electronic.
